I like many others hit a wall when learning a new language. I would spend hours picking up vocabulary and mastering grammar rules, but I just wasn't fluent yet.
I get high scores and maintaining long streaks on popular language apps, but I still am not confident when it comes to actually speaking. It felt like I was playing a game rather than learning a skill I could use in the real world.
That gap—between knowing the rules and actually communicating—is why I started Lugalink. I wanted to build a tool that bridges the divide, helping learners like myself go from "good on paper" to truly confident in conversation.
