Lugalink is building a comprehensive multilingual learning platform. Below is the current list of supported languages and their regional dialects. All languages and dialects are currently in preview mode as we continue to refine our AI models and expand our content library.

- Content coverage may vary by dialect

Supported Languages

Arabic is one of the world's most widely spoken languages, with significant regional variation. We support multiple dialects to help you learn the Arabic that's most relevant to your goals.
Available Dialects:
- Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) (default) - The formal, standardized Arabic used in media, literature, and formal settings across the Arab world
- Egyptian - The most widely understood dialect in the Arab world, spoken by over 100 million people
- Levantine - Spoken in Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, and Palestine
- Gulf - Spoken in the Arabian Peninsula, including UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Qatar

How to Select Your Language & Dialect
- Navigate to Settings β Learning Preferences
- Choose your target language from the dropdown menu
- Select a dialect (optional) - If you're unsure, the default dialect is a safe choice
- Set your difficulty level to match your current proficiency
- Save your preferences
Your selections will be used to:
- Customize AI pronunciation and comprehension
- Provide dialect-specific vocabulary and expressions
- Tailor conversation scenarios to regional contexts
- Match you with appropriate learning materials
Choosing the Right Dialect
For Beginners
Recommendation: Start with the default dialect for your chosen language. Default dialects are typically:
- The most widely understood variant
- Well-supported by learning resources
- Easier to transition from if you later want to learn a regional variant
For Travel
Recommendation: Choose the dialect spoken in your destination:
- Mexican Spanish for travel to Mexico or Central America
- Egyptian Arabic for travel to Egypt or general Arab world communication
- UK English for travel to the United Kingdom
- QuΓ©bΓ©cois French for travel to Quebec, Canada
For Business
Recommendation: Choose based on your target market:
- US English for international business
- Standard German for business in Germany, Austria, or Switzerland
- Simplified Chinese for business in Mainland China
- Spain Spanish for business in Spain
For Cultural Immersion
Recommendation: Choose the dialect of the culture you're most interested in:

Dialect Switching
You can change your language and dialect preferences at any time:

Technical Notes
Preview Mode Limitations
While in preview, you may experience:

- Limited dialect-specific content - Some scenarios may use more general language
- Inconsistent formality levels - Formal vs. informal speech may not always match the context
- Vocabulary gaps - Some specialized or regional terms may not be recognized
